M--"Maybe dad will buy you that, mom!"
after a 'kay' jewelers commercial.
S--"dad, did you hear what the child said?"
J--"what, huh?"
M--(repeated herself, as she does often)
J--"hah, hah, hah, Isn't this month Mother's day, then your birthday, then our anniversary?"
S--"this is my month!!"
J--"maybe I can lump all of them together and get you something nice, say like a $20.00 gift?!"
(yeah, he said twenty.)
Mackenzie did not get it. Mommy did!

I love your blurbs on here, the kid stories mostly...Y'all are probably about as far away as my NY/PA family...nope you're further! Our country is so large!! Oh well. I can keep wishing and hoping, right? Much love to you all!
